The Girls in STEM Olympics (GiSO) is annual event for high school girls to explore their interests and discover opportunities in STEM.

Workshops & Challenges

Participate in workshops and compete in team-based challenges revolving around STEM fields such as:

  • Mechanical Design

  • Programming

  • Electrical

*No prior experience in any of these fields are necessary to participate. Workshops will be held on Day 1, which will help prepare you for competition on Day 2!

Explore new opportunities to get involved in STEM as well as meet industry and post-secondary professionals in our Innovation Fair.

Previous exhibitors have included SHAD Canada, McMaster University, University of Toronto, Quanser, The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, and Inkbox.

Women in STEM Panel
