FIRST HELP HUB

WE are every team lacking adequate guidance

and resources.

Many aspiring teams have the drive and passion to be the best in the world, but don’t have the resources and guidance required to reach their full potential. We are bridging the resource gap amongst them and advocating for gracious professionalism by supporting teams on multiple platforms, thus levelling the playing field.

FIRST Canada originally designated Team 1241 as one of three official Canadian 'Super Hubs'. The purpose of a Hub is to provide any FIRST team in the region with resources, access to facilities, the ability to machine and assemble parts, as well as offer mentor support. We are fortunate enough to have an generous amount of alumni mentors, a high-end machine shop sponsored and donated by General Motors, and plenty of space in our school. Due to all of the resources and opportunity we have available to us, we have been able to share the wealth with countless teams in the last 6 years, including teams from Mexico and Singapore during competition season. In 2017, as a founding member of The Compass Alliance, we thought it would be best to share this Canadian program, turning it international as we re-brand it as the "FIRST Help Hubs". This program grew to 7 countries and 20 Hubs in its first 2 months.

Helping you find your path!

The Compass Alliance is a consortium of teams from around the globe working to create a sustainable FIRST ecosystem. The goal is for it to become your "one-stop shop" for all thing FIRST. We are passionate about team sustainability and helping you get the most out of your FIRST experience.
